SiteChart helps construction and infrastructure teams capture daily site execution, create Daily Progress Reports, track site activities, monitor project progress, and keep field-to-office reporting organized.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the SiteChart mobile application, website, dashboard, and related services. By using SiteChart, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Account and Profile Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:

- Job role, designation, or user type
- Login credentials or authentication details
- Assigned projects, teams, and role-based access information
1.2 Project and Site Information
SiteChart may collect and store project-related data entered by users or organizations, including:
- Project names and project codes
- Site names and locations
- DPRs, activity records, work progress, quantities, remarks, and status updates
- RA bill, expense, profit/loss, work order, and activity-related records
- Assigned users, contractors, vendors, managers, or team members
- Review, approval, pending, rejected, and mapping status information
1.3 Photos, Videos, Audio, and Attachments
SiteChart allows users to upload or capture field evidence and activity records. This may include:
- Site photos
- Site videos
- Audio notes
- Uploaded files or attachments
- Image or media metadata, where applicable
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right or permission to upload any content, including photos, videos, audio, or documents containing third-party information.
1.4 Location Information
SiteChart may collect location information when location-based site updates are used, including:
- GPS location linked to a site update
- Location selected or entered by the user
- Project or site address information
Location data is used to support site verification, location-linked reporting, project tracking, and activity records. You can control location permissions through your device settings.
1.5 Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect technical and usage data such as:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- App version

- Feature usage and interaction data
- Date and time of access

How We Use Information

- Create and manage user accounts

- Create, manage, and review DPRs

- Record and review location-linked site updates
- Generate structured project, activity, RA bill, expense, and progress views

- Support approvals, pending items, rejections, and follow-up workflows
- Provide chat, notifications, and team collaboration features

We do not use your data for third-party advertising unless this Privacy Policy is updated and the required permissions are obtained.
App Permissions
SiteChart may request device permissions depending on the features you use.
Camera

Photos / Media Library
Used to upload existing site photos, videos, or files from your device.
Microphone
Used to record audio notes for site activities or DPR records.
Location
Used to attach location information to site updates or project activities.
Notifications
Used to send updates related to DPR status, approvals, assignments, messages, project activity, or reminders.
You may allow or deny permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work properly if required permissions are disabled.
Legal Basis and Consent
We process personal information only for lawful purposes, including:
- Providing SiteChart services requested by you or your organization
- Managing user accounts and project workflows
- Supporting contractual obligations with your organization
- Complying with applicable laws
- Protecting the security and integrity of the app
- Processing information based on your consent where required
Where consent is required, you may withdraw it by contacting us or changing your app/device settings. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use certain SiteChart features.
User-Generated and Project Content
SiteChart may store content uploaded or entered by users, including DPRs, photos, videos, audio notes, remarks, chat messages, and project records.
You represent that you have the right, permission, or authorization to upload and share such content within SiteChart.
Your organization may control access, retention, deletion, and export of project data. Some project records may be retained for audit, reporting, contractual, accounting, or legal purposes, even if an individual user leaves the organization.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to:
- Provide SiteChart services
- Maintain project and DPR records
- Support reporting, review, approvals, and follow-up workflows
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, audit, or contractual obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Maintain security and prevent misuse
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely retain it according to our internal retention practices and applicable law.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period before they are deleted automatically.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

For organization-managed accounts, some requests may need to be handled through your company administrator because project data may belong to or be controlled by your organization.
Account Deletion
You may initiate account deletion directly from the SiteChart app menu or by visiting sitechart.in/delete-account. The deletion request page does not require you to create another account, add a password, call support, or send an email.
When an account is deleted, we remove or de-identify eligible personal profile information. Project records, DPRs, approvals, work logs, media files, and audit-related data may be retained where necessary for your organization's project records, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
Children's Privacy
SiteChart is intended for construction, infrastructure, business, and project management use. It is not intended for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information without proper authorization, we will take steps to delete such information where required by law.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in India or other countries where we or our service providers operate.
By using SiteChart, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside your city, state, province, or country. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection of transferred data as required by applicable law.
